E Code on Handycam DVD404e

Can anybody help me I have had the following code E94:00 flahing on the screen of my Camcorder DCR-DVD 404E does anybody know what it is and how I vcan get rid of it ?

Hi Purnellc

According to the service book this error code translates as "fault with writing to or erasing the flash memory"

While I dont pretend to completly understand the inner working of these products that would suggest it might be a good idea to get someone to have a look at it.
