You need a third party device to convert this. I think it's against forum policy to advert but just search Mpeg2 to mpeg4 convert on google. https://imagicon.info/cat/12-13/vmware_happy.gif

Hello azeem123 - Welcome to the Sony Forums

austingrd is correct to say that there is third party software available - some discussion of these software options is usually allowed as long as it doesn't become overly spam like in nature i.e. twenty messages pointing a user towards a specific piece of software. Having said that, I usually only recommend freeware products wherever possible as nowadays, there is usually a free option for most PC based tasks.

Going back to the original question, converting MPEG2 to MPEG4 is possible with free software and there are various options available online. A good starting point would be this online article that covers five different free packages that are available:

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fileextensions/tp/free-video-converter.htm

Option 1 seems to include support for MPEG2 and MPEG4 files.

Thanks,

Simon

Actually, there are many online apps can do the video conversion for your, such as zamzar, Acethinker Video Converter, mediaconverter, etc. They are totally free, and you don't have to download or install anything.
