"Do not move your computer while the power is on."

Okay, so how seriously should we take this advice in the VAIO Quick Start Guide and the User Guide/Manual stored on the PC? Do you worry about it at all, or just move your computer as and when you please while it's powered on?

By their nature, laptop/notebook PCs get moved a lot while powered on. Even just typing on the keyboard of a laptop that's on a lap table results in some movement of the device. I know that iBooks from years ago (when researching the one my wife purchased five years ago) had drive-parking tech of one kind or another that was triggered by sudden movements and they did not come with warnings not to move the computer. Do VAIO notebooks not come with some kind of HDD protection?
