I have a VGN-NR11S and I am about to receive a new router from TalkTalk, which is wireless "n", is my laptop compatible with wireless "n", if not, is it just a case of updating a driver or would I have to add some new hardware?
no your NR11S does not support the N networking standard, only B & G
Most Routers are backward compatible so you should be able to connect using the G standard, however should want to use the N standard then you could buy a 802.11n wireless USB adapter..
