Year of make 2020/11.

When I am watching this TV and I want to watch a film I have to manually change (remote hand set) the screen format every time to Zoom. When I return to normal transmission I then have to change back the format to Full.

I am watching all viewing through a Sky Box.

Is there not a set up I can manage to stop this change being needed every time.

There is not such an automatic switch also because you should not zoom a movie by altering the proportion, really. But if you enjoy it like this, than remote it is

Many modern movies are made in 22:9 format, and so show with black bars top and bottom on a 16:9 screen, each taking up 1.225 of the 9 in 16:9, with the picture taking up the 6.55 between them.

This is normal, and as intended.

But please post again if you are seeing anything different from this.
