Contacts when added to groups doesnot show up under main contacts list

Hi Guys,

When I add specific contacs to a group, I do not see that contact listed under the main contacts list. They are available only under the groups. It looks like a bug with the xperia neo v. Is there a way I can have the contact seen in both the main contacts list and in the groups? I use the xperia neo v which is upgraded with ICS 4.0.4

Hello,

Maybe it's a feature inadvertendly activated?

With Contacts open, make sure the Contacts tab is selected (from Contacts, Phone, Groups).

Press the Menu key, then press Filter from the newly displayed menu.

You should see now a Phone contact list, press the arrow on its left to expand it. The Phone contact list contains the list of your Groups, and All other contacts; make sure they are all selected (if you wish to display everything; but you might want to hide some groups).

The phone will display in its Contacts list only the Groups selected there, and/or contacts unassigned to any group (if All other contacts is selected).
