Phone suddenly comes to home screen

I am facing the problem of phone coming to home screen frequently while running any application. This is very irritating since if u r watching a video, playing a song or game or using internet...

Pls. help in informing whether this is software releated issue or hardware related

Pls. help in resolving the issue.

Sounds to me like a hardware issue. Does the phone vibrate when it returns to the home screen? I mean, when you touch the buttons does it vibrate? If it does, does it vibrate when it returns?

No, the phone does not vibrate when it returns to the home screen unexpectedly.... but it does vibrate when i press home screen button...

Very weird. Seems like a force close to me. Do you have antivirus running in the background or task killers? Get rid of 'em asap.

I was using avast antivirus... uninstalled it... but the problem persists..

Backup your content and perform a Repair with SUS. It will wipe everything from the Phone Memory.

It might be faulty too, try a Repair first and keep me updated :smileywink:.
