Xperia P + HDMI connection

Hi,

I recently upgraded to ICS in my xperia p and now it doesnt seem to recognise the hdmi cable when i connect it to the tv. I also use smart connect and when i try to create an event, it does not show the hdmi option. Is there any solution to that?

I also formatted it but no solution. I used also the Function Tester from sony and in the hdmi menu there is no activity at all.

Can you find in your phone apps the HDMI and Tv Launcher?If not,something went wrong with your update.Try repairing with SUS or PCC and let us know the result.

Both are installed, and i have already repairing through pc companion two times.

i have done both ways, unfortunately non works. I tried it also in 3 TVs. The thing is that before the upgrade to ICS i could use the hdmi cable along with the usb cable attached on the TV. after the upgrade there is no HDMI output.

I extracted the apk file and installed.

Although my phone was not rooted i installed the apk and it works!!! Thanks for your quick replies

Maybe your Tv launcher was damaged...ok.good it is working for you now.
