Xperia J won't update

Hi, I've had my Xperia J since February and I haven't had any notifications about my Android version updating and when I connect to my PC, it says it's up to date. This also happens when U connect to the update service. Also, when I connect it to my PC it's read as the 'ST26' instead of the 'ST26i' even though it is the i version. does anyone know how to solve this?

Well, if PC Companion says you have the latest version there are no newer updates available for you. Regarding ST26 instead of ST26i, it's nothing to worry about. The i just means it's a international version instead of for example ST26a (American).

I have the same problem. it says on my phone that my Xperia model is ST26i, but PC Companion says its "ST26". It also says that i have the latest Software available. My current Android Version is 4.0.4 build number 11.0.A.7.5, when clearly, the latest is -

Android version: Google Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)

Latest available software: 11.2.A.0.31

as stated in the website (http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/software/phones/xperia-j/)

its simple, if either PCC or SUS tells you that you have the latest update you have 2 options

1) wait for the update to be approved and released in your country
