Phone after updating not switching on.

I updated my xperia go today using Sony Update Service at home.. and after all updating in it , it said to switch on the mobile,and it may take a while to update to the new software.

Now after that i switched on my phone, and the screen comes of new fire rolling in and out of the screeen. Even after half an hour its in the same screen, what to do?

i reinstalled the software using the update service

Now my phone with new JB update 4.1.2, is working fine

i don`t understnd what does meen "Update Service". Can I repair this problem at home? Or I mast go to service center?

I am trying to do this but my phone will no longer be reconised by my pc know any solutions
