Safe mode

Hi every one I want to ask about something after I input Sim and memory card in acro s unfortunately my little brother played on it then I found something strange happened all APPS I downloaded disappeared from menu but they were in apps settings and all shortcuts disappeared I restated it and found ( safe mode ) at lower left on the screen then I removed sim and memory card and restarted it . The apps reappeared I menu but shortcuts not . And there were no widgets . What had happened ?
