I can not get touch screen to respond to any inquires.

You need to take it to a Sony repair center to get the digitizer (touchscreen) replaced.

DIY, it will be cheaper but will void the warranty, there isn't any other way around as you won't be able to do anything with your phone until you replace it

ThankYou for the reply Allwooly, will go to techknow place for replacement. Hope they can replace the digitizer.
