Android 9.0 Update FAQ

So this probably will either HAVE AN ANSWER OR NOT depending how it's approach by whomever already received such but for those who still don't know, bear with me, please! I know everybody is either received the update (fortunate if it works correctly or not if still having problems or BRICKING) or not at all so, I'm trying to establish some sort of understanding or a forward heads-up on WHEN THIS WILL HAPPEN! So simply put, who has the 9.0 update on this model and, who also knows when it will be available to everyone? I am completely aware of the previous issues with bricking from those who reported such a while back and the re-release a few weeks ago but even for myself, as like all of those who are waiting patiently, where is the update or the OTA for it?

Hi the update to pie 9 does not record voice calls with the automatic call recorder app and it was working great before the pie 9 update. I have a Sony experia xa2 ultra. Please fix this as some calls that i get or make is important for my job.

I'm in the same boat here. XA2 user in the US here, still waiting for the OTA upgrade. Can anyone provide an ETA?

From what I have noticed so far Sony is dropping the ball in regards to responding with an appropriate answer when it comes to this. I don't even think we're going to get an answer or any type of heads up unless something is found through 3rd party channels or other sources that might verify otherwise, but as far as you and every other person is concerned even myself, it's pretty much pointless.

Good luck getting a response! Anything related to the update with problems don't get handle and resolved.
