There was a thread here about screen flickering for partial of a second. Check there and see if it's similar. If it is, then no problem and you're staring at your screen too long to notice

So i've been in contact with Sony already but i thought i'd see if any of you guys could help before i do all the things Sony want me to do, so here goes.

Issue 1 Screen

Every so often while using the phone, the screen will flash black for a split second, sometimes its the whole screen whilst sometimes it's just the bottom quarter that flashes, there isn't a pattern to it ie. certain amount of seconds between "flashes" but it does happen on a regular basis, the screen works as it should otherwise although and i don't know if it is relevent to all this but i have noticed recently that when i browse the web when i click on a link the phone brings up the magnifying glass to zoom in on that link/links, this might just be my fat fingers though.

Issue 2 Camera flicker

I have just read through the forum rules and it appears i can post a link to youtube, if i'm wrong then i apologise, but this is the problem with my camera, this problem as only manifested itself in the last couple of days (infact i took a couple of pictures and videos yesterday and didn't notice it then) and is NOT as pronounced in indirect light as in the video i am about to link but still shows.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnjdZaIE8Gk

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just on a side note, this phone as had no major impacts and has been used in the rain once in the first week of using it, these issues are very recent.

I don't know about issue 1 (maybe a hardware problem), but issue 2, according to the video, normal. Your camera focuses on the light, which shows a flicker becuase light particles are moving inside the tube. If you do the same to a projection, you will know exactly what I mean (you can see rainbow flicker).
