Hi, I've purchased this Xperia Z2 this Monday. Its running on Android 4.4.2 (Updated). I am very much disappointed with its wifi issues. I can connect to hotspots created in other phones and access the web and anything, but at my office there's a Netgear WG102 wifi router is installed, where after a million of tries failed to connect. But my other phone and the phones of my colleagues can easily connect to the Netgear router. Please help me.

Sounds like the same issue many are having. The z2 doesn't connect flawlessly to every single router it seems. Mine has issues connecting to the 2.4ghz network in my home. All you can really do is play around with the router settings (if you can) or hope Sony updates the firmware. I know 4.4.2 straight from Google has wifi issues, so that's most likely passed through to Sony unless they fix it themselves. This is why I think Sony should prioritize 4.4.4 for the z2 even if android L is around the corner.

Ib used to have the same problem, but haven't had it now for a couple of weeks: Try disabling your 4G (through the quick settings menu) while your connected to your network. This did the trick for me.

This is not making any sense to have a smart phone with this sort of problem at this time. Even a device costs 2000 bucks can easily gets connected while this 42 grand device is just a toy. Am really disappointed with Sony, Xperia Z2.

Z2 isn't great at picking up or holding onto known WiFi networks. Switching it momentarily to Airplane Mode and back again (press and hold power button then select) is the quickest way to get it to see the network again.

Mine has a habit of switching WiFi off a couple of times a week for no good reason. An inconvenient and unwelcome 'feature'.
