Xperia M Dual Earphone jack ptoblem

in my m dual after plugging in the earphones sound still comes through speaker.its happening after i upgrade to 4.3.I tried to clear the cache and data both, of smart connect but in vain!!
where is the problem??no headphones or earphones working,infact it cant detect any....

Try to remove the headset while in a call or when listening to music.

It is also worth gently cleaning the headphone jack with something soft like a cotton tip.
