Hi everyone, i want to seek help regarding my phone. I used my z2 under water, no more than a feet in depth, and no more than 3 minutes in duration. I was sure all ports were locked. I took pictures under water then after that i tried tapping the screen but it wont work. I dried my phone and waited for it to work. It heated up, began playing music as if it detects a headset connection. I decided to turn it off for it to cool down. for 3 days, there had been no changes so i brought it back to the store. Its been a month since i brought it there and they were telling me that they will be changing my phone's front assy costing me USD $ 396 (17,000 in philippine peso) which is a very costly one. I dont have money to pay for that, my phone is a month old only.

Can anyone help me for an alternative way to fix it?
It just have a non functioning screen. Someone told me it could be fixed by updating its OS.

Contact Xperia care because if this is hardware then you should have warranty to cover this and should not be asked to pay http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
