phone is hanged

my phone is not detected to sony pc pc companion.during update of software phone was hanged and now when i am switching on it giives the msg software update failed and connect to pc. and when i am trying it was not detected to pc.

please help me what to do

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet". Do this without your phone connected. You will then get a guide that will tell you how and when to connect to the PC: The phone shall be turned off when connecting to the PC.
