phone not charging

My xperia M just won't charge, it's not the charger as it works on other devices and other chargers have no effect. I used to have to hold it at a certain angle now it just doesn't charge and it is dead. I think it might be the port on the phone. Please someone help!!!!

Does the USB transfer work with the same cable?

How do you normally charge the phone? With a cable where you connect the adapter,correct?

So you say the cable works fine with other devices?
