Walkman app suggestion

Hi:
First of all, sorry for my poor English. I wanted to leave a tip for the Walkman application. I hope that is right for that site.
I am very happy with this app, but it would be cool if the category "Musical Genre" be added to the classification of music on the device. This would allow a more flexible handling of the music library from the tags of the files. From already thank you very much. Greetings.

I agree. I do understand you do not want to clutter the app, however to have a way to select by Genre would be nice. Perhaps within Smart Playlist should add by Genre. Similar how when you select SensMe and it shows the number of songs that fit each category.

A nice feature would be to switch the songs with the loud and lower buttons like on old Walkman Handys. So you haven't do put out your smartphone out the pocket. That would be really nice.

There is no marking option in Walkman. If we have to share 5 or 6 songs then we have to do it one by one

Hello,

Your's Walkman player has almost everything to be the best stock music player I've ever seen. I can't understand why there is one simple option still missing. It is the reason why I decided not to use walkman I'm saying about song cover form Id3 tag. It is very frustrating that every song in one folder has the same cover as first one. I can imagine that most of users have different songs by different artists in one folder. And please don't tell me to sync music using Sony application or Windows music player becouse it is not working properly.

BTW: I've wrote to polish division of Sony Mobile but their answer was... let say funny - not satisfying.

Other players are equiped with one simple checkbox "preffer Id3 tag covers from mp3 file". Thats it! I would like to chose.

I would be very greatful for that simple improvement.

Hello Sony,

I just want to do a suggestion to the developer. I really miss my Sony Ericsson's W series like w800, w660, w910 and w705 option. Stereo Widening @ old Clear Stereo. I really hope that Sony can do a consideration about bring it back into nowadays Walkman app in Xperia.

Positive consideration is highly appreciated.

I just want to give a suggestion to the developer that please develop something that removes other applications audio files from walkman. Im really annoyed with it.

You can do that using the button on the headset. Press twice for next song and three times for previous song. Or you can buy a SmartWatch and you will have everyhing on your wrist.

It would be also nice to have a feature in the Walkman app to hide selected audio files such as recorded audio or other audio files you would not want to appear in the Walkman app.

Agree with u. Walkman is playing audio files from whatsapp. Please create an option to op out certain folder.

A nice suggestion from all of the posts here which I togally agree to be in the next update of Walkman, if it's okay for the developers and customer sarisfaction:
1. Group music by Genre.
2. Control music playback with volume buttons ON THE PHONE. (Hold up for next song, previous for holding down for example).
3. Use ID3 tag for album covers. Poweramp does this. I even edit my music files for each song, only to find out that Walkman only uses a single image for the whole album. Bummer.
4. Hiding of songs from other folders.

2.choose folder where to search music, not having scanned all storage

3.equalizer on/off with eq style present in the play screen, not hidden far in menus
