Sony Xperia Z5 no ringtone/notification sound despite me turning off vibration mode

My Sony Xperia Z5 has been acting strangely these few days, when someone calls me or sms me, my phone does not have any sound despite me switching off vibration mode. I tried to restart the phone and it fixed the problem, i thought it was a one time thing but these problem has been happening very frequently already. Is there something wrong with my phone?

Besides that the back of my phone near the upper part tends to heat up quite frequently when I am just surfing facebook for quite some time. Is it because my phone battery is having issues?

First issue, test the phone in >>> safe mode for few hours, if you don't experience the same issue then it's a third party app acting up

Second question, that's normal.
