      <title>Xperia 5V Tethering error</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, Tethering seems to have broken on the latest update, please investigate and issue a fix. Whether USB, Bluetooth or hot-spot message saying *tethering error, error occurred during tethering" appears and tethering doesn't complete.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Can you add a screenshot of the error?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try to reboot in safe mode by following the steps below and test again:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. Hold the Power button until the “power down” options are shown.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Instead of tapping it, press and hold the [Power off] option.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. After a couple of seconds, a [Reboot in safe mode] prompt will appear that allows you to reboot.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4. When restarting, Safe mode will appear on-screen, indicating that it’s in safe mode.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;5. Check if the issue persists in safe mode. If not, it might be interesting to delete some apps to see if performance improves.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;6. Rebooting again will return the phone to normal mode.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the issue remains, Force restart &amp;amp; Force shutdown:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;. Force restart: press and hold the Power button + Volume button for 10 seconds.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;. Force shutdown: press and hold the Power button + Volume button for 30 seconds until the phone vibrates 3 times and shuts down.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
