Xperia 5V Tethering error

Hi, Tethering seems to have broken on the latest update, please investigate and issue a fix. Whether USB, Bluetooth or hot-spot message saying *tethering error, error occurred during tethering" appears and tethering doesn't complete.

Hi @Danpo3, did you try to restart your phone? Can you add a screenshot of the error?

Try to reboot in safe mode by following the steps below and test again:

1. Hold the Power button until the “power down” options are shown.

2. Instead of tapping it, press and hold the [Power off] option.

3. After a couple of seconds, a [Reboot in safe mode] prompt will appear that allows you to reboot.

4. When restarting, Safe mode will appear on-screen, indicating that it’s in safe mode.

5. Check if the issue persists in safe mode. If not, it might be interesting to delete some apps to see if performance improves.

6. Rebooting again will return the phone to normal mode.

If the issue remains, Force restart & Force shutdown:

. Force restart: press and hold the Power button + Volume button for 10 seconds.

. Force shutdown: press and hold the Power button + Volume button for 30 seconds until the phone vibrates 3 times and shuts down.

Still the same I'm afraid, the screenshot on uybhege's post is what I get as well. Can you merge the posts until resolved?

It is only since the latest update as uybhege states.
