Pink stripes on rear camera

Z5 compact suddenly showing pink stripes on rear camera .not sure if this started when cleared cache or when tried to install magnify app. Please help

Hi @Tigers11, sorry to hear about this. 😕

Do the stripes appear only on the photos that you take or do you see them when you want to take a picture as well?

In the Support application that you can find under Settings > Support there is a test for the rear camera and the front camera if you tap on "Xperia tests" in the bottom right corner, do you see the pink stripes here as well? If you don't, go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear data > OK.

You can also try the camera in safe mode when downloaded applications aren't loaded, just to make sure that the magnify app isn't the cause of this.
