I am trying to put books form Adobe Digital Edition onto my PRS-505. I am using a MAC and ADE is registered to the Mac and also a PC ( back up option).

When I connect the SONY PRS-505 reader I get nothing recognising that the reader is even there. Going into the help section, Do I need to download some new software for the PRS-505 .If yea where do I get this from and is it free and how.

I know its a simple thing so I really would appreciate any help anyone can give me out there.

Hi I am not 100% you can use with a PC and a Mac, I would try a reset and see if the Mac can the see the 505 in ADE, please follow below instructions for a full hard reset;

1.Push reset
2.Slide the power switch
3.Hold "Vol+" and "Bookmark" button down for ~30sec when device is starting up
