Hi I have inherited my PRS-T1 and have just tried to register it. There is no longer a serial number on the back and I'm pretty sure it wasn't bought on line so have no store details to add. When I connect it to my laptop it still gives my mothers email.I certainly need to update it how can I get a link to update it please?

I'd recommend getting in touch with the Sony customer support to request changing the details or to unlink the device from the previous email so you can register it using your own.

Thanks I did find an update , and will do as you say to get the reader set up to my email account.
