      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hello all,&lt;BR /&gt;im looking for some help with my vaio fx101please.&lt;BR /&gt;i have a problem where by when i press the on button the notebook doesnt come on.&lt;BR /&gt;i get all indicator lights coming on and then go off imidietly, the machine sounds like its gona start up but dosent.&lt;BR /&gt;it does this with both mains and battery.&lt;BR /&gt;i have checked the battery and even borrowed some one elses, and still have the same problem&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;can anyone give me an idea to a soloution to fix this?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if all else fails, where do i get out of warenty repairs?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanx for your help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;james&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;for anyone whos interested, i changed the cmos (bios) battery in my laptop, and so far its booting all the time, so at present it seems to have fixed my problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the only one little problem i have now if anyone can help, when i changed the battery or while having problems i lost all the bios settings, and when i powered up it reverted to default and it apears its only seeing once of my ram moduals (512mb) and theres 2 installed.&lt;BR /&gt;can anyone sugest any soloutions?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;it was only by talking to people at work.&lt;BR /&gt; i took the notebook to a few local 'service centres' who wanted £50+ to give an estimate, also tried calling sony vaio and was put off when it said on the recorded message i first got, something about out of warenty technical help will be charged at £20 a call 'please have your credit or debit card ready'&lt;BR /&gt;i found after warenty repairs to be very few and far between and the ones i did find were hinting at an uneconmical repair.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
