Drivers for laptop VAIO PCG-71211M Windows 7 - 64bits

Hello,

I've tried to search for drivers via support but my laptop is not on the list of vaio release. Please help me find the necessary drivers for this model.

Hi jonas918 and welcome.

The reason you cannot find support is that you are quoting an invalid Vaio Model. I suspect you are using the chassis model which is the same for all the different models in the series. Sony don't help by prominently putting the chassis model on the bottom.

Try looking on the screen surround, on the original box or in Control Panel -> Vaio Control Centre for the correct model - it will be an E-Series notebook starting VPCE*****.

When you have the correct model, you can find the support pages on the support website - for example here is the support pages for the VPCEB2S1E.

Hello Biencego,

Thanks a lot for prompt reply. The reason I used the model because my hard drive failed and I had to change it and installed from CD so I will not be able to check via control panel. I can see some vaio model PCG series but none for the PCG-71211M model. Any ideas? Thanks again.

Hi jonas918,

You should also find the 'Product Name' on a white sticker on the underside of the notebook. Also if you enter the BIOS settings by tapping F2 at boot you will find the Machine Name (Product Name) on the ‘Main’ tab.

I use the mentioned above Laptop.I changed operating system from Windows 7 to Windows 10 last year.

I updated it somedays ago ,now discoperating system is not working .Therefor I am in need of drivers update.

I have the same model 71211M from PCG series, that is the model write on the bottom of the laptop. Any drivers, I miss few and the network driver provided by windows is not that good.
