i/o error in dvd engine,when i try to burn een slide-show of mine pictures with NERO vision express,how to repair it?

I think i/o is 1 and 0, lika a Bit. Have you installed the newest Nero ASPI drivers?

Lol no Seb, I/O in this case is referring to the letters I and O meaning Input/Output and not 1/0.:smileytongue:

Try installing the Adaptec/Roxio ASPI Drivers 4.71.
Ensure you pick the drivers with the date from 28th May 2002 because these have the ASPICHK tool.

Reboot your computer after installation and try again. New ASPI drivers can fix these problems.

In Nero When you go to get system info,under ASPI/ASPI Installation,it says System ASPI is not installed,it that normal
for a Viao Laptop,mind it says it is for NERO [installed and Working]

On the new Nero it has Nero ASPI
Probably best to get the latest
