Add a Backlit keyboard?

Hi there,

I have Vaio VPC F11 C5E, i5 intel 2.40Ghz, 4GB DDR3, NVidia 330GT M 1GB,

I was wondering if it possible to add the backlit keyboard on it?

This is not an upgrade that Sony offer and going elsewhere will almost certainly invalidate your warranty.

That said, it is probably possible as long as your model has the required ambient light sensor fitted.

Why don't you have a word with one of Sony's Local Service Partners. If you are in the UK, you can choose from these here: -

Hi Blencogo,

Thank you for your time and your help, my laptop has a light sensor fitted(the screen goes darker automaticaly if there not a lot of light).

I will have a word with them and keep you posted.
