Hotkeys not working after clean windows 7 install

Hello,

i am having problem with hotkeys on my vaio.(Fn + F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F9, F10 or F12 for volume, brightness, sleep presentation mode... )

I install clean version of windows (original retail version, NOT by SONY) on my vaio after having some problem with upgrade version.

I have install all the drivers from the vaio support and yet cannot get the hotkeys to work.

any one got any ideas to getting them working.

i have VAIO VGN-NS11J/S wiht windows 7 32bit.

Try reinstalling the following Sony Utilities IN THIS ORDER: -

1. 7UPG_Sony Shared Library

2. 7UPG_Setting Utility Series

3. 7UPG_Vaio Event Service

You can download them from here: -

thanks for replay.

but can you also tell me other important things to install. i mean i dont use sony burning software or any other sony media software. but i want the all the important software.

beside what you told me:

7UPG_Battery Checker Utility - no use

7UPG_VAIO Control Center - ???

7UPG_VAIO Control Color Setting - dont think so.

7UPG_VAIO Power Management - will it help the battery last long?

7UPG_VAIO Presentation Support - does this bring up the menu when pressing Fn + F7 for presentation options?

VAIO Update - 5.1.1.04090 - dont think so.
