Smart Network needs to be closed

Hello,

Yesterday my new VGN-Z21/x arrived. After a fresh Windows Vista 32bit installation I want to connect to the Internet via my UMTS card. I installed all drivers and all applications that I found on the vaio support page. After I wanted to start the VAIO Smart Network application an windows error message comes up "Vaio smart network stopped working and has closed". I searched that error message in the internet and I found a lot of other guys who had exactly the same problem, but no one seems to found a solution for it.

Can anybody help me? If their is a alternative to connect via my umts card (without the smart network application) I would have no problem to use that alternative application.
