slow keyboard in battery mode

Hi all,

I have a stupid problem with my new shiny VGN-G11VN/T.

It seems the keyboard can't fallow my fingers, when I use my VAIO only with battery.
And I'm really not one of those with 200 hits and up per minute.

It would be strange when if it's because of little CPU power.
True, it's a little Coro Solo with 1,33GHz. But it's performance should be quiet similar to an Pentium4 at 2GHz. (well, an very old P4)

It may not be related as it refers to an upgrade from XP - does the processor MAX out?

Yes, the processor max out. But only when I scrool the page via Touchpad. Thanks for the tip, but it didn't solve the problem.
It seems that SonicStage causes the problem. That is really strange, because it need very low CPU resources.

A very quick Google would indicate that it is a fairly common problem with Vista when scrolling in almost any application.

Concensus seems to be that Vista is a resource hog!

hmmm, strange is that Vistas Aero Glas is powered by GPU.

And Intels Graphic Media Accelerator 950 does support DirectX9 and Shader 2.0 by Hardware.
So, Aero Glass isn't the performance hog. Anyway, I think Windows XP has the same performance problem at scrolling pages. :smileythinking:

Like I allready said, the problem occours only when SonicStage is running. Windows Media Player doesn't make any problem.

It seems the perfomance hog is SonicStage for any reason. Well, i bet on a Dual-Core System, you won't notice it.
