Problems with new VGN-FE41S... please help.

Hi All, first post so please be gentle!

I have recently purchased the above laptop which is pre loaded with Vista. My wife was using it all day yesterday and when I got it back there seems to be a problem with the display.... it seems kinda fuzzy.... like the picture hasn't sharpened itself? I tried doing a system restore to an earlier time but they keep failing due to an "unspecified error" so im stumped....
This has happened before when waking from hibernation but it corrected itself within 1 minute.

Any help would be great.... before I go for a full system recovery.

Could be a loose connection - have you tried reinstalling the graphics drivers so we can count software issues out?

Might be that the resolution has changed itself when recovering from sleep or hibernation - a common problem in Vista.

1. Right-click on the desktop - Personalize
2. Click - Display settings
3. Using the slider - increase resolution to High (1280x800)

welcome to Club Vaio..

Have a look at this similar thread , have you noticed similar problems to the other Vaio users..?

A temporary fix was posted that pressing the FN+F10 combination may change the resolution back.
