Hello,

I have a strange problem with the display of my Vaio notebook.

The problem arise from time to time. Sometimes the complete day sometimes not at all. The screen has been divided in three parts. The upper part blinks hardly, the middle part a bit more and the bottom part a lot. When this happens the mouse works very slow. The mouse gets stuck a bit and shoots through again. I have already tried my other monitor. This works perfect so its not due to the software or the gpu.

Now I wondered: What be can the cause of this strange flickering? Is it possible that something is damaged? Is the backlight broken?

A second problem is that my screen is much too bright. I turned the hardware acceleration to none. This fixed the brightness problem. Strange.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Jorn Kortooms
