KDL-55W905A & Onkyo TX-NR626 ARC No Longer Working

Hi,

I have been using my Sony KDL-55W905A and Onkyo TX-NR626 AV receiver together for over a year now without any issues, I have the Sony and Onkyo connected via HDMI and have been using the ARC function to feed the Freeview signal audio back into my Onkyo receiver for surround sound.

Today I found that I was no longer getting any sound from the Onkyo, I checked all of the settings and nothing had changed but I found in the Bravia Sync settings that the Onkyo and TV were no longer talking to eachother, no remote commands were being passed and of course no audio. The audio works on all other HDMI inputs.

Since then I have factory reset both devices and tried powering on the TV first and then the Onkyo due to advice I read elsewhere but have had no luck.

Can anyone help?

Hi Russel,

Have you tried to change the cables?

Had a simliar issue in the past and found out that the cable was broken.

I have the same problem

is the fault of Sony or Onkyo?

TV samsung ARC is working correctly

just with sony problem
