&lt;P&gt;I cannot imagine it being a compatibility issue to be honest.&amp;nbsp; Its most likely how you have connected it up to the TV.&amp;nbsp; Can you please explain in detail on how its connected up?&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There are some diagrams from page 12 of the manual : &lt;A href="http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/3213480121.pdf" target="_self"&gt;HERE&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also there has been no software update to these models for many years now and all development ceased long ago.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>RDR-VX450</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;First time poster here, so please excuse errors.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the RDR-VX450 DVD player.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It will not work with my new Samsung 6 series television.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Samsung says it could be a compatibility issue and I should look for any upgrade software for the Sony DVD player.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any guidance will be appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
