First time poster here, so please excuse errors.

I have the RDR-VX450 DVD player.

It will not work with my new Samsung 6 series television.

Samsung says it could be a compatibility issue and I should look for any upgrade software for the Sony DVD player.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Hi there

I cannot imagine it being a compatibility issue to be honest. Its most likely how you have connected it up to the TV. Can you please explain in detail on how its connected up?

Also there has been no software update to these models for many years now and all development ceased long ago.
