Xperia 1 stuck in bootloop

My Xperia 1 won’t start. I get the Sony logo, then the Xperia logo, then it starts over again. Holding volume down and the power button doesn’t help either

Any suggestions to get it out of this bootloop , without losing my data, would be welcome

I guess you do release the power button after the vibration and keep holding the vol-down, do you?

I can't remember to be honest. I've now recovered the device using Xperia Companion , which has wiped 1,000's of files I had stored on the device which weren't backed up

Sorry just seen this, sorry to hear that mate

I know its a bit like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted, but make sure you have an sd card in your phone and save your photos to that.
