Xperia 5 III possible to disable internal microphone?>

Hello there

 iHAVE xperia 5 iii and want to attach a Rhode Wireless go external mic.

Is it possible to disable the phone's internal microphones so I can make sure that phone only pick up sound via the RHODE II and not the internal mic?

Im not sure you can do that with the pre installed camera app.

I use an Xperia pro I,, and found this on the cinema app. I'm not sure if it also applies to other models..

Hi GilgameshUK, there's no option to disable the mic within the settings. Also, using an external mic by itself isn't guaranteed to work. It's a trial and error situation.
