Freeview KD-50X75XL

Please can you advise if this model has Freeview player inbuilt and if so, how do I set up? Many thanks

Do you mean KD-50X75WL and Freeview Play? KD-50X75XL is not supported in the UK.

The KD-50X75WL is a Google TV which has LIVE TV & Catch Up (YouView) and not Freeview Play. However you can add a Freeview Play box to any TV for about £70. Freeview Play Box.

Thanks, yes KD-50X75WL. Can you clarify how you set up YouView to run off WiFi as opposed to an aerial or satellite.

Hi @refpjb 

I tried to reply yesterday,  but it was impossible to log on to the community. 

YouView (and Freeview Play) both require an aerial and Internet. For Internet only you need Freely or something like a BT/EE box in IP mode (requires BT/EE broadband and subscription).

The KD-50X75WL does not support Freely, so what you are asking is impossible.
