The download speed on our XR-55X90L TV is under half of the speed available. An iPad positioned around the TV (immediately in front or behind or at the base) running the same Internet Speed App achieves our full download speed of 37Mbps but the TV only achieves around 13mbps (have seen it as low as 6Mbps & up to 17Mbps). Often when watching iPlayer or ITV-X we get spooling. The higher TV rate was achieved after Sony's AI Assistant advised to change the Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8. The TV's Wifi signal strength shows 3 out of 4 bars so I believe this should be okay. The AI Assistant has now advised to fit a Powerline Adaptor, I have no experience with these so before spending money on one I wondered if anyone in the community has had similar issues & how they resolved it.
