I have a Sony HDR-FX1E. I also have a Sony HVR-A1P where the HDV FireWire output is broken. I want to play tapes from the A1P on the FX1E to convert to my Mac. However the tapes don't play properly, they keep cutting out and only play intermittently. The tapes play fine on the A1P and anything filmed on the FX1E play fine too. Is there a reason for the problem and can it be resolved? Many thanks
