Cybershot HX1 battery (NP-FV50?)

Hello, I intend purchasing a spare battery for my Cybershot HX1 (NP-FH50), a storekeepr proposed I buy an  NP-FV50 stating that its the new more powerful replacement for the FH50. Can anyone confirm this? I'd hate buying a €70 battery that could damage the cahrger or, worse still, the camera.

Problem solved with help of another support forum: FYI for anyone with doubts, the answer is NO! the FV50 will not fit into the battery slot of a cybershot HX1

Just so I can mark this thread as answered:

The NPFV50 is not compatible with the DSC-HX1 camera.
