Just a quick update for those interested:

Went to the Digital Splash show on Saturday in Liverpool,

It was a good show (aimed at the amateur photographer) with all the major brands displaying

cameras, kit and accessories, some displaying other kit such as drones, telescopes. software etc.

The team representing Sony were very helpful and let us have a play ariound with some of the cameras.

It was great to get my hands on an A99 II if  only for 5 minutes

great to hear and view your pictures of the show.=== brilliant work===regretfully i did not make it===the evening before jessops cameras on their website reduced the price of the==sony camcorder cx 625==by 80 pounds===i went to preston shop the next morning and purchased their sole unit===have posted on general forum===thank you once again for pictures. regards seaside.==glad you handled the a99 you obviously like this==hope you purchase soon.

Hi again

Much to my shame I didnt see the offers,

I was too busy taking photos and playing with the cameras

I've used an a5000 and a6000 (in the photos above) before and they were great.

Some of the a5000 test shots are in my photos on my profile page.

The a6500 wasn't there but that is also worth investigating. Here
