I am a disabled film fan. Just over a year ago I looked into attending film premier in London. I was told I had to enter ballots to attend premiers.
Since then I have felt like a 2nd class citizen.
Why do non disabled people get more spots at premiers then disabled why can't it be 50/50, are we not good enough to be treated like equal to non disabled
Also we have to enter ballots but non disabled can line up for a wristband. So the usual people get to attend every premier. Most of these are dealers who start lining up hours before the wrist bands are given out so they get to attend every premier but disabled get to attend one or two a year if lucky. Why can't it be ballots for everyone? Disabled people get treated like 2nd class citizens
