Back Created is Not compatible any more

I backed up my Xperia SL and then safely removed it, then i clicked the "factory data reset"  option available in settings>>backup&reset in the phone itself. Problem is ,when i try to restore the backup i created, it says "backup not compatible with your phone". What do i do now? I have my very important data in that backup.when i disconnect the phone, it again shows that backup in the list of all the backups created, which i think means there is no problem with the back up.  Please help. I tried everything.

One more thing i want to add is, in back properties , it states

phone/tablet name: static

phone/tablet model: static

Interesting that support haven't responded to this issue.

Have you changed the backup+restore app in any way?  IE updated it?
