Back up via PC Companion

Dear,

I just want to update my phone via PC companion but on my PC Companion doesn't show the option for "back up", "manage file", etc, some kind like that

How do i suppose to back my phone via PC Companion?

The second thing is, i want to update my phone software, but i'm afraid if I lost my warranty again,

Is that save for me if i update my phone via this software, since this is under Sony license?

When you get a blank screen like this it generally mean you either need to update flash player on your PC or ensure you also have shockwave player installed.

Recently, I installed those software, but still i got blank screen.

1. Should I re-install the PC Companion?

2. The PC Companion told me the lastest software for my Xperia Sola, but Sony Center in my country told me that's no update for software, and I finally ask them to have the lastest software, but nothing change, just like swipe my data, the build number itself doesn't change at all.
Is ICS available in Xperia sola yet?

PROBLEM SOLVED

I installed the PC companion in three different Computer with three different interface, I still dont know why.

Xperia Sola, upgraded to ICS already, thanks for Sony PC Companion/Sony support since in my country, Sony Center doesn't help me much.
