Bootloader unlock for my Xperia X8

Can I unlock my bootloader on my Xperia X8, below are some details...

• Locked to network (Three UK)
• Model: E15i
• Android 2.1-update1
• Build: 2.1.1.A.0.6
• Baseband ends with 015

On the post of the link you just provided it says "You do not need to have a sim lock on your phone to unlock your bootloader."

So this means my locked phone can unlock bootloader?

you can try to unlock your phone from your network first and then try the method on that link, it might work

so locked phone cannot unlock bootloader?

i really don't understand i am a noob at this stuff, flashing, roms, unlocked bootloaders etc...

Actually don't worry. I've just learnt that I cannot do it-I used the Sony link you gave me. I am missing the 'Rooting Status' section from 'Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status'. Ohh well I will just have to deal with the stock Android 2.1 :smileysad:.

   can i unlock the bootloader? .....    because XDA treads said dont try unlockbootload if ur sony 11w49 at the back ur phone! ?
