Cannot copy file from pc to xperia

I can copy a file from the micro sd card to the computer no problem

I have applications/developmentUSB debugging ticked on.

The micro sd card has no way of being locked, does it?

I have simply connected the usb cable from the computer to the mini pro.

Have no other problems in the usb connectivity, pc companion asks if it should be launched - and I successfully installed an update.

When trying to paste a file - I get the following error: "The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected"

Please help - if you can

firstly, have you tried to change another USB port to connect or change a computer to check it is the fault on your pc? btw, have you tried to use MSC connection mode?

In fact - when I connect - it says "Media transfer mode"

I will not be back at the computer for a few hours - but I will then investigate what MSC mode is.

Thank You

Maybe a stupid question.. but how you connect the phone in MSC mode? :smileyblush:

I have the same issue with Xperia S. When connected via USB to PC, i can see the phone memory in windows explorer, but i can not open any file (photos, music, pdf etc). i can see the files and folders, but i can not copy anything to pc or from pc to xperia.

It says that  "The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected".

PC companion works fine, btw

Thank you!
