How to detect original Xperia P

Hello, I am worried that my new handset is original or not, I bought Sony "LT22i XPERIA P" about 1 week ago, after back to home I checked my IMEI in http://www.imei.info & it is showing my handset is samsung 'I5700 Galaxy Spica'. Then I claimed for another new handset to the distributor's head office. They ensured me, their higher officials checking my case. Yesterday they called me & said its not any clone set or smuggled one, they said that website is showing wrong info. But still I am not sure my handset is authenticated or not. If their is any support to check my IMEI on your database it would be very helpful for me.

I Don't Know Does It Work Or Not.......... But Check At The Out Before U unboxing Your Device, Who Distributed............. if Other Than Sony Coorperation or 'Sony', For an Example Distributed By, ABC factory, VBGF Corporation....... Are Fake Models Or Known As Cloned...............
