My phone's imei code isn't accepted for the bootloader service?

In the bootloader service from sony you need to input your name, imei code and email adress.
I've done that, and then it said: imei code can only be 14 chars long. For my knowledge an imei code is 15 chars long? (my phones imei code is 15 chars long).
So at the end I cannot go further into te proces...

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance,

Marcel Horemans.

if it's locked to a network/carrier or network/carrier branded it is not going to work as networks/carriers request this to be locked
